- Contact Samui Municipality Office within 15 days after birth.(The Municipality office is located in Nathon on the ring road). - Office hours are Mon – Fri 08.30 – 16.00 (lunch break 12.00 – 13.00) - Please note there are fines for any delay in submitting the forms. (Thai 2,000 THB. / Foreigner 5,000 THB.) - Required documents are: - photocopies of parents passports with signature - Thai parents who are named on the house registration in Samui, please submit the house registration book as well. Please note : We advise you to translate your baby's name into Thai before you visit the office to make the process easier.
